The oil rich nations of the world would still be nothing but sand boxes if it were not for the modern/inventive/advanced West (primarily America).
Wherever the Gospel has taken hold, true progress and advancement follow. It is called REDEMPTION AND LIFT.
It is true that godless people then hijack the benefits for their own agendas, but that does not negate the positive impact of taking dominion of our world.
And never forget, the RULING CLASS OF THE OPPRESSED PEOPLES OF THE WORLD DO NOT SUFFER. It is the rest of us that are expected to give them lives of ease.
Just because Russia (Eastern Europe), China (all of Asia), Africa and South America rejected the message of Christ and its Liberating impact does not mean we should join them in their pathetic and primitive standard of living.
