Satan is * Darkness (Ac 26:18) and * The Power of Darkness (Co 1:13). God sent Light to the World to Save us from Darkness. * Jesus is the Light of the World (Jn 8:12). * Christians become The Light of the World. * Our Light should shine and Glorify Our Father in Heaven (Mt 5:14-16).

Colossians 1:13

GOD SENT LIGHT
Isaiah 42:6-7
6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
Matthew 4:16
16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

BELIEVERS ARE CALLED TO LIGHT

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
1 John 2:8-11
8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shines.
9 He that saith he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness even until now.
10 He that loves his brother abides in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
11 But he that hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and knows not whither he goes, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
CHRISTIANS ARE LIGHT
