For Such A Time As This
Are you expecting your, "FOR SUCH
A TIME AS THIS" moment today? God prepared a young woman,
Esther, for a special and spectacular mission in life (Es. 4:14).
Like Esther, you have been placed here to serve God, with assignments
specially made for you. Esther lived many years before she
encountered her life's defining moment.
God has a life's call for you, which may or may not be spectacular in the eyes of a watching world. He also has daily mission for us to run. Though you may seem to live your life in the shadows of the mundane, there may come a moment when you find yourself face to face with that special divine assignment, that defining moment when your daily mission becomes your special mission. If you are not living the quiet moments in submission, you will miss your opportunity to serve in a more challenging role.
More Than A Conqueror
At the end of the day, if you can't remember a spectacular moment of service, you will still look back at a day spent in victory, which is more than most people experience. It is God's choice as to when and how He will use you. But it your choice to be available and obedient. Live your life with your eyes on Jesus (He. 12:2), your feet following in His footsteps (1 Pe. 2:21), your heart inflamed with the love of Holy Spirit (Ro. 5:5), your will ready to do anything God commands (2 Tm 4:6).
Read, sing, pray, praise, serve, meditate throughout the day and you will finish the day, more than a conqueror. You prepare yourself for tomorrow by being faithful today. Every day is a link in your eternal destiny. You don't want to miss your call to service, because sometimes there are no “do-overs.”
Launch Out and Hold Fast,
