5/19/09 SPEND WISELY

MAY 19, 2009
We have only so many breaths in this life, what a shame to waste them in negativity, crying and fault finding. We have only so many heart beats in this life, what a shame to waste them in anger, resentment, suspicion and jealousy. We have only so many words in this life, what a shame to waste them in criticism, complaining and attacking others. We have only so many days in this life, what a shame to waste them.

Life is transient. Squeeze all of the love and life you can from every moment. It will be too late to give accolades and affection when we stand over the fresh dug grave of a friend or when others stand over ours.

Be sure to use every second for Christ, He has given us His all.

Be sure to cut a clear path, a straight path, a peaceful path, a loving path for others to follow. Others may be a spouse, children, friends, neighbors or the lost and dying masses and they need all of the mercy they can get.

People don't need condemnation over the insignificant, they need love and deliverance from the futility of failure.

Put your words and your actions on the same train.

You can either be a stepping stone or a stumbling block; a help or a hindrance; a blessing or a burden
.

Launch Out and Hold Fast,
Pastor David L. Gould
